The new roadway north of U.S. 90A and south of Constellation Field has been named South Stadium Drive. The roadway south of U.S. 90A will remain University Boulevard.
When complete, University Boulevard and South Stadium Drive will accomplish the long-planned “Burney Road Bypass” project, an important north-south corridor that provides for the mobility of residents north of U.S. 90A while alleviating traffic in residential areas along Main Street and Burney Road.
